Farmhouse. Mainly C17, in 2 ranges forming L shape plan; various later
additions, notably a C18 dairy wing to the north. Timber framed and
plastered; roof of black pantiles, some glazed. Part single storey and attic,
part 2 storeys. Various casement windows, mostly of C18 and C19. The service
range has 2 gabled dormers and a C19 4-panel door, the upper 2 panels glazed.
The main range has a mid C19 colourwashed brick staircase addition with 6-
panel door, rectangular fanlight and gabled hood. Heavy central internal
stack to main range and various other stacks. Elaborate stop-chamfers to
floorbeams in main range; arched brick fireplace on first floor. 2 blocked
ovolo-moulded mullioned windows in service range.
