2 cottages, probably once lobby entrance house. C18 altered C20.
Timber-framed clad in weatherboarding with tile hung extension to rear
of The Old Bakehouse. Half-hipped roof, now tiled but probably
originally thatched, with central brick chimneystack. The Old
Bakehouse has external chimneystack to rear and Ray's Cottage has
external chimneystack to side. 2 storeys 2 windows. The Old Bakehouse
has C19 triple sliding window to first floor, triple casement to
ground floor and left side doorcase with weather hood. Ray's Cottage
has a C19 casement to first floor. Ground floor has C20 casements and
central plank door under wooden penticed weather hood. Outshut to
Ray's Cottage has open fireplace with wooden bressumer and exposed
floor joists, series of plank doors, including a winder staircase
situated behind an early C19 plank door.
