The main portion of the street frontage is early C19. Two storeys. Four windows. Ground floor painted brick, above faced with weatherboarding. Slate roof. Glazing bars missing. Modern shop front. Behind former Bassetts Stores to the north west is a recessed section which is early C17 or earlier. Two storeys. Two windows. This is timber-framed but has been refaced with painted brick on ground floor and tile-hung above. Tiled roof. Casement windows on first floor, sash window on ground floor. Doorway with flat hood.
