One building. Late C16 or early C17 timber-framed building with plaster infilling,
of which the timbering is still visible in the upper storeys of The Old Cottage,
the ground floor beneath this having been built out. Shirley Cottage has been
refronted with red brick on ground floor and tile-hanging above. The Old Cottage
has a projecting gable. Tiled roof. Casement windows with small square panes on
first floor. Modern windows below. Two storeys and attic in gable. Four
windows.
