The former farm buildings of Charlton Farm, now part of the Weald & Downland
Museum of Singleton. The buildings form an almost complete courtyard. The
oldest and most interesting section is the long barn which forms the east
side. C18 or older. Faced with weather-boarding on a flint base. Half
hipped roof of corrugated iron. The west side is a smaller C19 flint barn
wiLh tiled roof. This is continued along the western two thirds of the south
side. The north side originally comprised cart sheds but has been modernised
and glazed in.
