Pair of cottages, said to have been in use as parish poorhouse. C1600 at south, C17
at north. Knapped flint with chamfered brick dressings at south, exposed timber frame
with flint infill panels at north. Lobby entrance plan at north. Single storey with
attics. Single bay build at south, 4 bays to north. One leaded casement in C1600
build at south, 2 C20 casements one return, chamfered brick window surrounds and plinth.
Brick quoins.Drip moulds replaced. 4 ground floor windows and 3 attic dormers under
eyebrows at north. C20 porch addition at north, C20 outshut at rear, axial stack at
north, end gable stack at south. Substantial interior frame visible. 3 Inglenook
fireplaces.
