3/170 The Warren
II
Semi-detached house. Late C17, late C19 alterations and
enlargement. Limestone and flint, Welsh slate steeply pitched
hipped roof, brick stacks with stepped capping. Entrance at right
angles to road; gable end to road. 2-storey and attic, 3-window
front. C20 door and porch to left, to right is one 3-light ovolo-
mullioned window and one 2-light chamfered-mullioned window, both
recessed and with hood moulds. First floor has single chamfered
light and two 2-light C19 casements. Two gabled dormers to roof.
To left is late C19 single-storey extension. Right return has one
2-light casement to ground floor and one 2-light ovolo-mullioned
window and one C19 casement to first floor. Attached to rear is
late C19 house; not of special interest. Interior has chamfered
beams with concave and step stops.
