House. c.1820 and earlier. Brick with slate roof. 2-storey,
double-depth, central-staircase plan with single-storey
addition to left and 2-storey to the right. 3 bays with
stone plinth, moulded eaves cornice and brick eaves parapet.
Pedimented Regency door surround with ornate fanlight and 6-
octagonal-panel door. The 2 ground floor and 3 first floor
windows are good C20 replacement sashes which have cambered
brick arches and stone sills. 3 ridge chimney stacks. The
additions to the left are not of special interest although
those to the right would appear to be of an early date. The
interior incorporates timber beams which are said to be of
an early C18 dated predecessor building.
