Chest tomb. C18. Stone. Inscribed slab supported on blind
balustrading with turned half-balusters and panelled corner
dies. The slab has a carved decorative panel at the top and is
inscribed "Here Alice Daughter of Joseph Lawton of Dobcross
Gentleman was buried the 7th Day of July Anno Dom 1764"....
also Mary wife of Joseph, 1772 and Joseph Lawton, 1788.
