Substantial terrace house. C.1740 with C19 and some early C20 alterations. Three
storeys heightened to 4, basement, slated mansard with dormers. Brown brick with
stuccoed ground floor. Fourth floor stone cornice and third floor sill band. Early
C19 Ionic columned porch. Four windows. Continuous first floor cast iron balcony
projecting over porch, c.1900 bombé version of early C19 type. Revealed sash windows
with flat gauged arches, those on first floor with stucco architraves. Cast iron area
railings. Interior retains front compartment staircase with carved brackets to tread
ends, twisted balusters, column newels with handrail ramped etc.
