Minister's house attached to Hinde Street Methodist Church, Hinde Street
q.v. 1881-87 by James Weir and of same build as church. Grey gault brick
with brown stone dressings. Stylistic continuity with church. 3 storeys
and basement. 5 windows wide. Corniced doorway to centre approached by
steps. Recessed sashes in stone architraves with cornices, those on 1st
floor with pediments and pedimented central window to 2nd floor. Applied
parapet to 1st floor; flanking channelled quoin piers. Crowning cornice
and stone balustrade linking through with church. Cast iron area
railings.
