Terraced houses. c.1810-20 Portman Estate development associated with
Gloucester Place. Stock brick with stuccoed ground floors; concealed
slate roofs. 4 storeys and basements. 2-window wide fronts.
Semicircular arched doorways to left, panelled doors, those of Nos. 31 to
37 with reeded jambs and head, fanlights, retaining enriched radial
pattern to Nos. 29 and 37. Recessed sashes, most retaining glazing bars,
under flat gauged arches. Stuccowork finished off with plat band at 1st
floor level. Crowning stucco cornice and blocking course. Continuous
cast iron geometric patterned balconies to 1st floor. Cast iron area
railings with urn finials.
