Terrace of dwellinghouses. Circa 1840. One of 3 balanced blocks of 3 storeys and
basements, with additional storey to centre group (Nos 43-47). Two windows wide each.
Yellow brick, stucco to ground floor. Stucco cornices and blocking courses above 2nd
floor. Arched ground floor windows. Square headed windows above. Architraves to 1st
and 2nd floor windows of 4 storey group. Others with gauged arches. Iron balconies at
1st floor. No 56 entrance on 2 storey one window extension. Area railings. Part of
Paultons Square layout. Garden wall at rear of Nos 13 to 25 on west side, forming a
boundary wall with Allen Hall, Beaufort Street. See under Beaufort Street.
