C18. Stock brick with parapet. Roof not visible. 3 storeys. 2 windows, sashes,
those of top floor with glazing bars, 1st floor, vertical glazing bars only.
Segmental heads, concealed frames. Door with fanlight. Ground floor windows
with shutters and flat gauged red brick arches. Over entire ground floor is an
entablature with cornice, frieze, architrave and slender side pilasters which
may be part of a former shop front.

The Dolphin Public House, Nos 192 to 224 (even) and No 230, The Britannia
Public House, The Town Hall & Gate Piers form a well defined group on the
South Side of Cable Street.
