Early C19. Probably originally one house, or one of a pair with No 5 (qv). Brown
brick, ground floor channelled stucco. String course at 1st floor sill height.
Rusticated quoins at north side. Stucco eaves cornice and blocking course. 3
storeys and basement, 2 windows, sashes with vertical glazing bars only except
modern glazing ground floor. Windows of 1st and 2nd floors with architraves,
those of 1st floor also bracketed pediments. Ground floor door and window round
arched, door set in double recessed arch, panelled with semi-circular fanlight.
Iron railings with urn and spear head finials.

Nos 2 to 11 (consec) form a group behind Bethnal Green Gardens.
