Early-mid C19 stuccoed pair, each 2 storeys and sunk basement, 2
windows; with l-storey, l-window outer extensions having parapets
curved up at sides. Moderately low pitched slated roof with eaves
soffit. lst floor cill band to sash windows with glazing bars and
margin lights. Ground floor easement windows with transoms and
margin lights, giving on ornamental cast iron balconies. Round arched
recesses in outer wings, No 60 blank, No 62 containing sash window with
margin lights. Doors of 3 ornamental panels, the upper glazed, flanked
by fluted Ionic columns supporting moulded cornice head with patterned
segmental fanlight over. Cast iron area railings, matching balconies.
