C18. Two-storeys. Probably early C19 stucco. Three sash windows. Very good lead
tented-roof verandah with Chinese style trellis work in wood. French casements with
margin glazing inside. Slate roof with gabled dormers. Shallow projecting wings at
either end probably added about 1840-50. Two-storeys. Stuccoed. One transmullioned
casement on ground floor and paired sashes with heavy bracketed cornice over on
upper floor. Formerly the property of Queen Adelaide as part of the Bentley Priory
estate and enlarged for her chaplain.
