Christie Farmhouse

G.V. II

Stable block. Late C18, C20. Red brick with some painted stone
dressings. Slate roofs with brick coped gables with kneelers,
dentillated eaves, weathervane, and stack to rear. 2 storey
slightly projecting bay flanked by long low single storey ranges,
of 3 bays to the left and 4 bays to the right. Central 2 light
casement with segmental head and keystone. Shuttered opening to
right, with overlight and keystone with doorway beyond with
sliding plank door. 2 shuttered openings with overlights,
segmental heads and keystones, to further right. to the left of
the central bay is a doorway with sliding double plank doors.
Shuttered opening to left with segmental head, overlight and
keystone; with doorway beyond with sliding plank door. 2 light
casement with blind fanlight in semi-circular head. Lower 2 bays
attached to left, with hipped roof and a doorway with wooden
lintel and sliding plank door. Shuttered opening to left with
overlight, segmental head and keystone.
