Farmhouse, C17 with major C18 addition, and with C19 alterations.
Brick formerly colourwashed, with stucco keystones, pantiled roof
with stone coped gables and small brick kneelers, 2 brick stacks.
Ironstone rubble rear wing with pantiled roof. T-plan. 2
storeys with garret, 5 bay front with first floor brick band,
centre bay projecting to full height. Central 6 panelled door
with 4 paned overlight, segmental painted brick head. Flanked by
C2@ cross mullion timber casements. Above are 5 similar windows.
All windows have segmental heads with projecting stucco
keystones. Gable end has brick band at eaves level. Interior has
late C18 fireplace in grey marble. The stair has turned
balusters with a closed string, and the rear C17 wing retains
some timber girders and an C18 clasped purlin roof.
