Thomas Hurst, founder of Hurst's Almshouses (see Church Trees, Swinegate).
Pantile roofs 2-storey and attics, 2 cambered dormers, wide eaves cornice; 3
original stone stacks; stone capped gable ends to building; 5 window, glazing
bars except for modern bay through both storeys and modern window over modern
porch and door; moulded date stone 1643, with initials T. H. and an heraldic
ornament like a wheel. Small extension on north side with quoins. Interior
has good panelled ground floor rooms of C17 with original fireplace respectively.
