The following shall be added to the description:-

To the rear a Sessions Hall, of red brick with similar stone arched windows. The
interior of this Hall has some of its original fittings including an ornate panelled
wooden balustrade to the public gallery, and a canopy over the judges'seat, plus
another ornate wooden balustrade, and its original roof.

William Watkins, 1867-9. Symmetrical building in read brick with ashlar
dressings. High-pitched slate roof in modified French style. Main section
of two storeys. Stone moulded cornice with brackets. Parapet in brick with
stone panels with circular openings. Most windows and stone arches with
joined carved heads, half-column mullions with carved capitals. Centre
projects with similar arches to entrance. Tall clock lantern with wrought
iron coronet. Flanking wings of two storeys, lower, with hipped roofs.
Four paired similar windows.
