Surviving tower and chancel of Church of St Peter. Built 1862-3 in Early English
style by J H Hakewill. Coursed rubble with ashlar dressings. Three stage tower with
flat clasping buttresses, moulded bands between stages. Bell chamber has openings on
each face with 2 lancets under a single pointed arch. Wooden, tiled broach spire.
Chancel has tiled ridge roof with stone coped gable. Remainder demolished c.1973.
