Cottage. Late C16/C17, part refaced C19. Timber-framed, with whitewashed
brick nogging, and whitewashed brick, and thatch roof with whitewashed brick
right ridge and left end stacks. Brick coped gable to right. 1½ storeys of
a 2-light horizontal sliding sash window. Door in wall extending from left
end. Section of wall to right with the window has been refaced in brick probably
covering 1 bay of timber framing. Visible to left are 2 bays, 6 x 2 panels
of mostly intact square framing with braces. On left end a lean-to with Swithland
slate roof and 2-light casement over.
