Farmhouse, now a house. Late C17, remodelled mid C18, with C19
additions. Coursed rubble and dressed stone with plain tile and
pantile roofs. First floor band, moulded eaves, coped gables
with kneelers, quoins. 2 stone gable stacks. Single brick ridge
and gable stacks. 2 storeys plus garrets, 3 bays. L-plan. West
front has central fixed margin light window, flanked by single
unusual plain sashes with raised heads and fixed flanking lights,
at a lower level than the central window. Above, central round
headed margin light sash, flanked by single unusual sashes like
those below, again at a lower level. South side has wing to
left, and in return angle, C19 gabled porch. To its right,
moulded ashlar reveal containing C20 casement. Beyond, close-
boarded door. Above, 2 C19 casements. To right, mullioned
casement with moulded reveal. North side has slightly off-centre
projecting bake oven, flanked to left by a casement and to right
by a triple sash, both C19. Above, a late C19 and a mid C19
casement. North and south gables have each a garret casement.
East gable has 2 C19 casements with wooden lintels. Above,
central C19 casement.
