Small house. Late C15-C16 in origin, with cruck truss exposed in left gable.
Mostly rebuilt early-mid C19. Rendered brick with dentil eaves and C20 tile
roof. Brick chimney to right of each bay. 2 storeys; 2 bays. 2-light
horizontal sash with glazing bars to ground floor right. Other windows are C20
2-light wooden casements. C20 door to left of each bay. Ground floor openings
in left bay have segmental heads. Lean-to to right end. Left gable end has
cruck truss and low stone plinth. On or adjacent to site of hospital founded
C12 by John de Laci.
