Medieval origin encased in C18 red brick. L-shaped on plan. Slate roof
with gabled ends. Two storeys. Segmental brick arches, first floor horizontal
sliding sashes with glazing bars, ground floor C19 three-light sashes.
Late C19 wooden gabled porch. Initials and date "W.P. 1789" on gable.
Early C19 additions at rear. Interior: segmental vaulted cellars, timber
ceiling beams. Medieval (probably C15) roof timbers in south east wing
probably of original hall and solar.
