SD 84 SE BARROWFORD off PASTURE LANE

House. Before 1777. Dressed stone with projecting quoins. 3 storeys. 3 sash
windows, the outer ones tripartite, and Diocletian in the 3rd storey. Doorway
with pilasters and semi-circular fanlight with glazing bars, below broken pediment
interrupted by keystone. Original door of 6 fielded panels. Each end of house
has an ornamental lean-to with ogee parapets terminated by rusticated piers,
each with one 2-light 2-centre headed window with Gothic glazing bars. (Left
hand window blocked). Inside a dog-leg stair with square balusters and curving
hand rail.
