Gateway, probably later C19. Rock-faced sandstone walls, ashlar piers,
iron gates. Octagonal outer piers with moulded caps, linked by curved
embattled walls to larger octagonal gatepiers which have embattled tops
like chesspieces, terminating with tapering crocketed finials. Heavy cast
iron gates.
