Farmhouse, C18. Watershot sandstone blocks with quoins, whitewashed,
tiled roof with brick chimney at left gable and later chimney in front of
ridge at right end. Double pile 2-bay plan. Two storeys; doorway offset
left of centre with plain jambs and slightly projecting lintel, left of
this on each floor one horizontal rectangular casement window with glazing
bars, right of it 3 smaller but similar windows (possibly loomshop
lights) and a vertical rectangular window above, also with glazing bars.
Entrance now in single-storey porch at left end. Right return wall has one
small window; rear has 3 ground floor windows. Interior: ground floor
back room extends whole length of house, and is separated by a timber-framed
partition wall.
