At the south-east angle of the house is an C18 red brick wall forming a letter L, of which the longer portion bordering the road has a series of buttresses and ends in a square two storeyed C18 gazebo with an eaves cornice mid pyramidal tiled roof. The room in the upper storey of this has a window on each of three sides and a doorway on the fourth side entered from outside stairs to the north.
