Farmhouse. Early C18 possibly built around the core of an earlier
building, refenestrated in C20. Front elevation rendered, right
side elevation brick, partly in English bond, rear elevation with
painted brick ground floor and tile hung 1st floor. Hipped tiled
roof, in 2 hips to rear. Right hand side has massive red brick
external chimney stack incorporating 2 windows. 2 further chimney
stacks at each side. 2 storeys, 3 windows. C20 casements, mainly
tripartite. C20 porch with half-hipped tiled roof with metal
glazing. Lounge has chamfered axial beams and exposed floor
joists massive chamfered wooden bressumer to fireplace which has
seats. Kitchen has chamfered spine beam and exposed floor joists.
Dining room has C18 joists, now exposed but originally concealed.
Frame visible to upper floor, including partition walls with
diagonal braces and plank doors with pintle hinges.
