House. 1887-9. Charles Lancaster. Common brick with red brick and
stone dressings, slate roof with tile cresting. 2 storeys, 3
bays. Flushback sill and lintel bands. 1st bay breaks
forward, 3rd bay projects, both under gables with decorative
bargeboards and diapering to top. Windows have flush brick
quoins and are sashed. Ground floor 1st-bay bay window with
hipped slate roof and tripartite windows. 3rd bay tripartite
window has brick relieving arch and tympanum with herring
bone. 1st floor end bays have paired windows, central paired
sashes. Enclosed lean-to porch has brackets and half-glazed
door. Return to street has rectangular bay window.
