4/85 Rock Cottage

House, dated 1761, possibly with earlier origins. Rubble stone
with stone tiled roof and rebuilt ridge stack. One storey and
attic, 'T'-plan with projecting gable to south front. Ovolo-moulded
stone-mullion windows with hoodmoulds. Gable front has lower 3-
light window, upper 2-light and single light to west side wall.
Stone doorcase in angle to left of gable, stone hood and datestone
over J W E 1761. Dormer gable over with 2-light window. West end
wall has 3-light ground floor and 2-light first floor window,
without hoodmoulds. Rear gable, one 2-light ovolo-moulded window.
