2/48 Manor Farmhouse

GV II


Farmhouse. Late C17 with C19 and C20 alterations and additions.
Coursed rubble rendered to south, timber lintels and stone slate
roofs with one ridge rebuilt stone stack and further end stone
stack. T-shaped plan with C17 range set at right-angles to road
and rear early C20 cross wing. Two-storey south front with
advanced wing to right and scattered casement fenestration; one
hipped dormer with 2-light casement. Gabled porch to roadside
gable end with plank door.
Interior: large inglenook fireplace and chamfered beams in ground
floor room to left.
