Two cottages, C17 to C18, rubble stone with stone-tiled roofs. No
9, facing road, is one and a half storey with dormer gable and 2-
light mullion window over 3-light with hoodmould, both ovolo-
moulded, door to right in bead-moulded surround with hood on
brackets. Wing behind with north end stack now on ridge to
connecting link with No 8. Link is C19 red brick. No 8, at right
angles has 2-storey east front in 2 sections, probably C19. To
left 16-pane sash over lean-to and casement pair, to right, single
light and 2-light to each floor with central door. North end
stacks. Nos 6, 8 and 9 form a picturesque cottage group.
