Mid C19. 2 storeys, red brick "H" plan. Elegant front to west. 3 course
band over ground floor. 3 windows on 1st floor, 2 on ground and 2 flanking
central doorway; sashes, with glazing bars in upper sashes only and brick
flat arches. Slate roof with projecting eaves, brackets to gable verges,
gable end chimneys. Good stone doorpiece with bolection surround, narrow
panelled pilasters and triglyph necking; part-Doric frieze with low relief
decoration; broken segmental pediment with a coat of arms. Marble fireplace
in room to right. Model-type farmyard and farm buildings. Storridge Farmhouse
is the best of a number of model-type farmhouses at Westbury.
