Dovecote to South of
Manor House Forecourt

At south-west corner of railed forecourt to C18 part of Manor House.
Probably C17. 2 storeys. Coursed rubble with ashlar quoins. Stone slab
roof with pigeon holes in gable-end towards house. External staircase
to first-floor below. Very large window facing west on first-floor, casements
with glazing bars. One small window set to right on ground-floor in moulded
stone surround. Single fixed leaded light. Archway under north end with
timber supports leading into garden of C17 wing.

All the listed buildings in Whitehead's Lane together with Nos 15 to 17
(consec) Silver Street and Nos 1 to 4 (consec) and Nos 7 and 8 White Hill
form a group.
