GV II

Farmhouse, now 2 cottages. Mid/late C18 with C19 extension to right. Brick in
Flemish garden wall bond with some timber framing to rear. Offset dentilled
eaves cornice. Plain-tile roof with brick ridge and end stacks. Four-unit
through-passage plan. 2-storey, 4-window range of C19 and C2O three-light
casements, those to ground floor with segmental-arched heads. 6-panelled door to
centre with fluted pilaster surround within C20 gabled timber porch. One-storey
lean-to to rear. Interior: chamfered beams and 2 large open fireplaces. C18
winder staircase rises to first floor. C18 collar-truss roof with stone stack
visible. Stone-flagged ground floor.
