One building. Late C16 in origin. 2 storey building which has been heavily
restored, but the greater part of original timber framing has been exposed
on the front. Good (probably restored) C18 wrought iron ornamental scroll
bracket for Public House sign. Modern windows and leaded lights to ground
floor. Shop to right hand side has plate glass shopfront and framing covered
with stucco. Well weathered machine tile roof. VCH, viii, p.443.

Nos 55 to 61 (odd) including Nos 57A and 59A, form a group
