House. Early C17, altered mid C19. Timber-frame on sandstone plinth. Red brick,
colourwashed. Red brick rebuilding of walls of part of main range and
cross-wing. Plain-tiled roof with central stack off the ridge. Plan of main
range and cross-wing. 2 storeys. Leaded light casements, early C20, at first and
ground floors. Exposed timber-framing at south-east end. Height of 2 panels to
the wall. Jowled heads to posts. Cross-wing of one storey and attic. One 3-light
first floor casement. Doorway at ground floor has a boarded door. Interior: The
cross-wing retains the centre truss of trio 2 bays. There are back-to-back
inglenooks.
