Detached Cottage. Circa Late C17, remodelled in C19. Rubble-stone walls,
washed. Thatch-roof, hipped and gabled. l 1/2 storeys. 2 windows, 3-light
wooden casements, renewed in C20. Eyebrow dormers. Front door at centre,
wooden, studded with a depressed-arch head. C19 label over 3 C19 labels
inserted over windows, with carved head-stops, possibly from Old Chedington
Church. Interior: chalk-block jambs to fireplace, mid-chamfered wood
lintel over.
