STAMFORD GROVE WEST 1. 5013 (South Side) ------------------- Nos 2 to 6 (consec) TQ 3487 8/590 No 7 13.12.74 No 8 II GV

2. Early C19. 3 pairs and half a pair (No 2). Each house 2 storeys and high basement, 2 windows. Stock brick. Low pitched hipped slate roof with central chimney. Wider central bay proects slightly. Arcaded ground floor with impost band. Gauged flat brick arches to sash windows with glazing bars in stucco-lined reveals. Proecting stone cills with palmette patterned cast iron guards on ground floor. O steps, with cast iron handrail, to 4-panel doors with radial fanlights in wood trellis porches with swept lead roofs. Some porches altered. No 8 has added right bay with garage in basement.

Nos 2 to 8 (consec) form a group.
