TEIGNMOUTH

SX9373 LANDSCORE ROAD 25-1/4/159 (South side) 29/07/83 Nos.3 AND 4 Landscore House and Greenway Nursing Home

GV II

Two houses, now retirement homes. Painted roughcast, hipped slate roof with 4 hipped bays to the north side of the left return, rendered stacks to front and right and party wall of the rear wing. Double-depth plan with lower 2-storey service wing to the right and long rear left wing which faces the garden and the sea. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; symmetrical 3-window range to the main block, 2-windows to the right wing and 6 windows to the rear left wing. 6/6-pane sash windows, those to the front left are blind; platband below the 1st-floor window sills to front and left return; projecting enclosed rectangular porch with clasping pilasters. The garden front has a hipped slate roof to a verandah supported by 6 fluted cast-iron columns. INTERIOR: not inspected.
