Farmhouse. C15 with C16 addition. Timber framed with rendered
infilling. Ground floor rendered except for small area. Plain tile
roof. Wealden with open hall of 2 roughly equal bays, that to right
subdivided to make cross-passage and storeyed bay to left.
Storeyed bay to right probably separately framed and C16. 2 storeys
on plinth. Right and left end bays jettied, that to left under
built. Curved brace to flying wall-plate on left side, solid
bracket beneath central tie-beam and small curved brace beneath
right end tie-beam of recess. First floor and part of ground floor
close-studded, right end bay with moulded fillet half way up
first floor. Left end bay with vestigial fillet, possibly a repair.
Hipped roof. Central brick stack in front slope of roof and red
brick stack to right end. Irregular fenestration of 5 windows;3-
light and single light casements. Ribbed door to right end of
hall and ribbed door with rectangular leaded light to left end
bay. Interior not inspected.
