about 8m south-east of south-east
corner of tower, Church of
St. Peter and St. Paul

GV II

Chest tomb; probably 1761; stone. Flat lid with hollow chamfer
to edge; corners quarter-square gadrooned balusters with scrolls on
bottom part. Sides rococo framing to panel. East end 2 scrolls
at bottom, rising up as tendrils to fill panel; west end 4
figures, 2 lower on inside, 2 upper set on brackets from sides.
Commemorates Thomas Constans, died 1724 and his wife, died 1761;
long s's in inscription; further inscription dated 1789. Lived at
Grange Court, (q.v.). Nearby monument to same family, (q.v.).
