Terraces, garden walls and gate piers. Probably mid-C18 with later
alterations. Red brick with plain and moulded stone coping to walls.
Walls enclose an area of approximately 50 x 40m divided into 3 sections
immediately to south of Stanwardine Hall (q.v.), western part comprising
2 terraces linked by straight flight of steps to centre and eastern
forming kitchen garden. Wall of lower terrace incorporates barrel-
vaulted garden store to rear left corner. Gate piers to centre; square
in section with chamfered bands to middle and pyramidal finials. Moulded
stone inscription panels, left illegible and right with only "17--" of
date legible at time of resurvey (January 1987).
