House. Mid C18 with kitchen block a rebuilding of C16 open hall. Red
brick possibly retaining timber frame in early wing. Tiled and slate
roofs. 3 bay main range. 2 storeys and attics. Central entrance, half
glazed and half panelled door with hood. Flanking 3 light small pane
casements in shallow reveals with cambered heads. Plat band to first
floor with similar 3, 2 and 3 light windows. Boxed eaves. 2 later 2
light box dormers over outer bays. Gable end brick parapets with moulded
kneelers. Tall internal end stacks. Attached to right end and set back
is 1 bay kitchen/dairy block with steep pitch to roof. Plinth. Entrance
to left with plank door, a 2 light C20 casement in a deep reveal with a
cambered head, 2 light box dormer. Internal right end stack. Pantiled
lean-to outshut on right end. To rear slate catslide roof over 4 bay
continuous lean-to outshut, 2 light flush frame casements, box dormers.
To rear of kitchen block a 2 light small pane casement in a deep reveal.
