The Methodist Sunday

School. 1823. Regularly coursed coal measures sandstone with
intermediate and end wall stacks, and a hipped Welsh slated
roof. Single storey, five bays, that to the south west an
addition. Windows are glazing bar sashes, with intersecting
gothic glazing bars beneath four centred arched heads. Flush
stone frames. Two doorways, that to the south end plain, with a
four panelled door, that to the north of centre a plank door
beneath a four centred arched head. Above the doorway, an
inscribed tablet which reads 'RIDGEWAY/SCHOOL/BUILT/BY/
SUBSCRIPTION/A.D,1823'.
