Bank. Early C19. Fine ashlar front with moulded stone cornice, rendered returns;
slate roof, two brick stacks. Large block with roof hipped left end only; rubble back
projection in two storeys with concrete tile. Two lofty storeys, one plus three
windowed, sashes with glazing bars in reveals. Ground floor, left, wide
elliptical-headed opening with pair diagonally battened doors, one sash plus one large
three-light sash, stone square-cut mullions at wall face. Three stone steps with
modern wrought iron handrails to stone door-surround with closed pediment on acanthus
brackets, six panel door with transom light.
Building was once the New Inn (Lindley).
