House, late C18. Brick in English Garden Wall bond 1 and 5, with cut stone
dressings; Welsh slate roof except for stone slates on porch. 2 storeys, 3
bays, symmetrical. Central gabled porch with vertical-panelled door under
round arch; with small arched window on each return. Flanking Venetian
windows with Gothick casements; small circular windows with mouchette glazing
on 1st floor. All openings in chamfered stone surrounds. Stone gable copings
and caps to end stacks. Left return shows 2 arched Gothick casements to
ground floor, 9-pane casement above, and tumbled-in brickwork in gable; to
left lower yard wall with pilasters and cornice. Right return shows single
arched ground floor casement, and similar yard wall to rear, backed by pent
outbuilding with 3 interlaced doors and small Gothick casement. 2-storey C20
extension to rear left is not of special interest.
